The Brown Act governs the circumstances in which a legislative body of a local agency or its boards, commissions and committees must meet in public and may meet in private. The Public Records Act was enacted to give the public access to information in the possession of public agencies. This workshop will address various new issues and recent changes you should know about including AB 646 and how it impacts your District.
