On January 1, 2014, a large employer (50 or more full time equivalent employees) will be subject to a potential assessable payment if it fails to offer minimum essential coverage for health care to substantially all of its full-time employees or offers unaffordable coverage to its full-time employees (and their dependents). This webinar will provide an overview of the assessable payment and describe the calculation of penalties. We will also discuss the safe harbors that employers may implement for determining who qualifies as a full-time employee and how an employer may determine whether their coverage is affordable.
Who Should Attend?
Managers, Supervisors, Benefits Coordinators
