LCW Opens Fresno Office and Welcomes

Partner Shelline Bennett!

Shelline Bennett has joined the firm as the Fresno Office Managing Partner. Shelline has represented management in labor and employment law matters for nearly 15 years. She has an extensive litigation background and has represented employers in hundreds of cases in both federal and state courts, in such matters as complex wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment lawsuits. An aggressive litigator, Shelline has successfully defended all cases that she has taken to a jury. Additionally she is adept at obtaining dismissals of cases in their entirety through motions for summary judgment.

As Managing Partner of the Fresno office, Shelline brings her extensive legal and management expertise to the numerous presentations she makes on topics including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, medical and family leave, discipline, hiring, firing, and prevention of litigation. Shelline is also a community correspondent labor law expert attorney for the local Fox (KMPH) affiliate network news, where approximately once a month she presents a segment during the news hour on recent developments in employment law.

Prior to joining Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, Shelline was a Managing Shareholder for a large national labor and employment law firm and managed its Central Valley office.

Shelline received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California Hastings College of Law, San Francisco and her Bachelors degree in English from California State University, Fresno.
