“Rising Stars” is a list of the best up-and-coming attorneys in a given geographic area who are chosen by a combination of the voting of one’s peers and an independent candidate search completed by Law & Politics’ research department. “Rising Stars” must be under 40 or in practice less than 10 years. Once candidates are chosen they are evaluated on factors including verdicts and settlements, professional activity, experience and other outstanding achievements.
