
Deborah Leon has extensive experience
representing public sector clients in a wide variety of employment law
matters, ranging from conducting FLSA audits to litigating civil rights
claims before a federal jury. She advises clients on disciplinary
matters, personnel policies, and wage and hour issues, and is
well-versed in assisting clients who receive sexual harassment
complaints as a result of her work in investigating harassment claims
and advising clients on how to respond to harassment investigations. She
has litigated wrongful termination, sexual harassment, and sexual
orientation discrimination claims in state and federal courts throughout
California.
Prior to earning her law degree, Deborah
worked as a legislative assistant in Washington, D.C. for a member of
Congress and a senator. In law school, she was a member of the law
review and a class representative to the student bar association.
