
Anthony Ly is experienced in a broad
spectrum of labor and employment law issues. This includes the areas of
discrimination, harassment, retaliation, employee discipline, wage and
hour issues, and the drafting and revisions of personnel rules and
policies. In that regard he has worked extensively with such employment
laws as the Fair Employment and Housing Act, the Age Discrimination in
Employment Act, the federal and state disability laws, the Family and
Medical Leave Act and the California Labor Code.
Anthony represents
clients in administrative hearings, including before personnel
commissions, governing bodies, and arbitrators, as well as practicing
before trial and appellate courts. He conducts disciplinary and
harassment investigations.
Prior to joining
Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s Los Angeles office, Anthony practiced with a
management, labor and employment law firm.
Anthony earned his
Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles and his
Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of California,
Berkeley.
