Emily provides representation and legal counsel to Liebert Cassidy Whitmore clients in matters pertaining to education, employment and labor law.
While attending law school, Emily participated in the Public Rights Division Summer Honors Program of the California Attorney General's Office in San Francisco. In law school Emily was selected as an executive editor of the Duke Law and Technology Review, was an editor of the Duke Journal of Gender Law and Policy, and served as the Vice President of the Duke Women Law Students' Association. Prior to law school, Emily interned at the U.S. Department of State in Geneva, Switzerland and Washington, DC where she represented the U.S. Government in meetings of the United Nations (U.N.) Human Rights Council and the U.N. Human Rights Council Universal Periodic Review and conducted research and analysis to support the U.S. delegations to the U.N. Human Rights Council and the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women.
