By virtue of the public agency background of members of the firm, we have extensive experience in developing local agency Employer-Employee Relations Resolutions / Ordinances and personnel policies and procedures.  A firm partner was instrumental in developing the League of California Cities Sample Employer-Employee Relations and Personnel Policies and Procedures Ordinances.  The firm does extensive work in reviewing agency civil service / personnel policies and rules to assure continuing consistency with the ever-changing dictates of EEO and affirmative action, labor relations and other laws and administrative regulations.

Additionally, members of the firm conduct comprehensive audits regarding agency's compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).  The firm publishes a comprehensive guide, "Fair Labor Standards Act: A Public Sector Compliance Guide," that serves as a reference to agencies across the country.
