Community colleges throughout the State have recently been hit with state law wage and hour lawsuits claiming adjunct faculty are owed minimum wage for time worked outside of the classroom. These lawsuits are styled as class actions and purport to represent thousands of community college employees. This webinar will explain these claims with the goal of educating participants on plaintiffs’ legal theories and the risks presented by these lawsuits. The webinar will be presented by the firm’s most experienced litigators, public education attorneys, and wage and hour practitioners.
