Daniella Bahrynian is an Associate in Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s Los Angeles office and an experienced workplace investigator. She conducts complex investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, employee misconduct, policy violations, and other sensitive workplace matters. Daniella has managed high-stakes investigations across a range of industries, including private employers, where she skillfully navigates intricate workplace dynamics, compliance challenges, and reputational risks.
Drawing on her background as a former educator, Daniella brings a unique ability to connect with employees and witnesses, fostering trust while conducting thorough fact-finding. Her investigative approach is methodical, impartial, and rooted in sound legal analysis, ensuring defensible conclusions and effective risk mitigation. She has extensive experience managing investigations involving employees, faculty, and students, particularly in K-12 and higher education settings, where her firsthand knowledge of academic environments informs her approach to sensitive matters.
Beyond conducting investigations, Daniella advises clients on structuring and overseeing the investigative process, analyzing findings, and implementing appropriate corrective actions. She also provides legal counsel on labor and employment matters, student discipline, and compliance with education laws.
Daniella earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she served as Note and Comment Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review and was an award-winning competitor in state and national appellate advocacy competitions. Before attending law school, she taught third grade for three years through Teach for America, an experience that continues to shape her legal practice.
