Marketing Technology Specialist

Overview

Liebert Cassidy Whitmore is a law firm that specializes in providing legal services and training to California organizations that serve others, including local government, schools, colleges and non-profits. More than just a law firm, we have been trusted advisors to these agencies for nearly 40 years.

The Marketing Technology Specialist plans and executes assignments and projects related to administration and maintenance of the Firm websites, e-commerce sites, email campaigns, webinars, social media presence and Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems. This position performs a variety of audit and data quality assurance tasks to ensure accurate and prompt entry and reporting of marketing data.

This position requires strong communication, critical quick-thinking and attention to detail. The candidate must be able to handle the demands and pressures of a fast paced environment and have the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. It is expected that the candidate will be technically savvy and detail oriented.  The candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment.  He/she will need strong client service orientation and exceptional time management skills. This role works as part of a statewide team, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Training.

Primary Responsibilities

Website, E-commerce Sites, Social Media, Data Management Systems

  • Monitor and assess operational effectiveness and troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance
  • Generate and review scheduled audits to ensure quality and accuracy of reportable data
  • Identify opportunities for business
  • Coordinate e-mail campaigns (including content and schedule) related to firm events and assist in establishing best practices for our email campaigns
  • Create and post content for website, blog and social media channels
  • Monitor social media sites for firm news; research potential content for marketing use
  • Develop and execute the firm’s social media plan
  • Deliver end-user training to members of the firm
  • Coordinate e-commerce programs including the recruitment and invoicing of members, posting of material and tracking usage
  • Facilitate our statewide webinar program

Training and Marketing Material

  • Design templates for use by others including PowerPoint, emails, and presentation material
  • Research and provide recommendations to keep the firm’s presentations technically advanced
  • Layout and distribute firm newsletters and Bulletins
  • Manage and resolve bounce back emails and general inbox inquiries from recipients
  • Create ad schedule and ad campaigns

General Administrative Duties

  • Assist as needed in client development support for all practices within the Firm, including research, tracking of activities and updating of marketing materials
  • Assist with graphics and design work as necessary
  • General marketing research and administrative support as needed
  • Coordinate assigned workshop updates to ensure timely completion and proper formatting of workshop material using  firm style guides

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (legal industry, or similar professional services environment preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access), InDesign, Photoshop and HTML
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current web technology, and CRM Relationship Intelligence application

Preferred Qualifications

  • Legal experience is preferred
