Brian Hoffman is an Associate in Liebert Cassidy Whitmore's Sacramento office where he provides representation and counsel to clients in matters pertaining to labor and employment law and litigation. Brian has experience in all phases of litigation, from the pre-litigation stage through mediation and trial. Brian is knowledgeable in drafting motions and briefs, preparing for depositions, conducting legal research, and propounding and responding to discovery requests.
As a member of the firm's Public Safety Practice Group, Brian has experience dealing directly with the Peace Officers Procedural Bill of Rights Act (POBR) and the Firefighters Procedural Bill of Rights Act (FBOR). In addition to providing advice and counsel on questions regarding the POBR and FBOR, he handles discipline hearings regarding public safety officers and firefighters. Brian works directly with police chiefs, sheriffs, and fire chiefs regarding discipline determinations and has experience directly related to public safety investigations, interviews, and discipline.
