Nathan T. Jackson

Nathan Jackson is a Partner in Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s Sacramento office where he provides representation and counsel to clients in matters pertaining to labor and employment law. Nathan defends cities, counties and special districts against individual and representative claims for discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and violations of wage and hour laws, including class actions and claims brought under the Private Attorney General Act (PAGA). He also counsels clients regarding sensitive personnel matters.

Nathan is an aggressive litigator and has significant law and motion experience in state and federal courts, covering everything from complex discovery issues to dispositive motions. Nathan also has extensive experience responding to investigations initiated by California’s Department of Fair Employment & Housing (DFEH) and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). He has also been successful in mediating cases with the DFEH and EEOC. Nathan also assists clients in conducting workplace investigations.

Prior to joining Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, Nathan was an Associate for a Sacramento law firm that specializes in litigation, trial practice and business counseling. He graduated from UC Davis and received his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law.

Recognitions

Nathans’s work as a member of the trial team ‘Stebbins v. California Public Utilities Commission” received recognition as a “Top Verdict” in 2022 by the Daily Journal.

Nathan has been honored by Super Lawyers as a 2022 Northern California Rising Star.
