Drew Liebert, Training Consultant

Drew Liebert has passionately focused his legal career in legislative law-making and advocacy.  Prior to his 2015 retirement from the California Legislature, Drew was one of the Legislature's most senior attorneys, having worked over 25 years in both the State Assembly and the State Senate. For almost two decades, he was the Chief Counsel to the Assembly Judiciary Committee where he and his staff counsel reviewed and advised state legislators, as well as the executive and judicial branches about virtually all areas of the state's civil justice system, including employment and constitutional law.  This work put Drew in the front row seat of developing some of California’s most important civil law reforms, such as sexual harassment prevention and diversity enhancement, child support improvement and marriage equality, and anti-discrimination reforms.
