Joseph Suarez

Joseph Suarez is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. Joseph provides advice and counsel to cities, counties, and other public agency and nonprofit clients in all matters pertaining to employment and labor law. A skilled litigator, his litigation practice includes all aspects of discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation, including deposition preparation and appearances, drafting demurrers and motions for summary judgment, and preparing pretrial motions and witnesses for trial. Joseph has defended against claims for discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations in both state and federal court.
Prior to joining Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, Joseph worked at full-service law firms in Southern California specializing in employment, business, and commercial litigation. While in law school, Joseph clerked for the Orange County Public Defender and served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Mary Thornton House at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Pasadena Courthouse.
