Kimberly Horiuchi
Associate
Kimberly Horiuchi works primarily in the Firm’s Litigation and Public Safety practice groups where she represents public and nonprofit employers in employment litigation matters. Kimberly has considerable experience defending public entities against discrimination, retaliation, and section 1983 claims and has prepared for and tried cases in both state and federal court. Kimberly also has extensive experience in preparing for and conducting employee disciplinary appeals for both sworn and non-sworn employees. Kimberly has also litigated matters before the California Labor Commission.
Kimberly’s practice also focuses on providing trusted advice and counsel to public entities throughout the State and has extensive experience in conducting workplace investigations.
In addition to her work at LCW, Kim has also worked as an attorney for the California State Assembly as well as Central Valley and Sacramento based law firms representing public agencies on a wide range on labor and employment issues and private companies in construction and real property litigation matters.
Recognitions
Kimberly’s work as a trial attorney in “Glynn v. City of Stockton” received recognition as a “Top Verdict” in 2017 by the Daily Journal.
