Kiyoshi Din

Kiyoshi Din is an Associate Attorney in the Sacramento office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. Kiyoshi provides representation and counsel to public agencies, educational institutions and non-profit organizations across the state. His areas of practice include employment law, labor relations and litigation. Kiyoshi also provides advice and guidance on matters including formations, operations and governance as well as business contracts. Kiyoshi is a litigator with experience in all aspects of the discovery process, including conducting pre-trial interviews and extensive in-depth research.
Prior to joining LCW, Kiyoshi was a Post-Bar Attorney for the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office. During this time he regularly argued criminal motions in court and conducted over 100 pre-arraignment interviews. Kiyoshi gained additional legal expertise through his work at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the Office of Assembly Member Rob Bonta, and the UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic in which he analyzed local and state policy initiatives, performed extensive document review of records and policies, and corresponded with counsel and pro se litigants.
Kiyoshi graduated from University of California, Davis School of Law where he was a nominee for the MLK Jr. Service Award. During his time at UC Davis, Kiyoshi worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Irene O. Joe, and as a Legal Research and Writing Teaching Assistant. As an undergraduate, Kiyoshi attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Global Studies.
