Sandra I. Herrera
Senior Counsel
Sandra I. Herrera is Senior Counsel in the Los Angeles office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, where she provides legal counsel to public sector clients on a wide range of transactional, business and facilities, and corporate governance matters. She brings a depth of experience shaped by her work in both in-house legal departments and private law firms.
Before joining LCW, Sandra served as Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at a publicly traded international company with operations in the entertainment and real estate sectors. In that role, she advised executive leadership on corporate operations, and negotiated complex commercial agreements. She also oversaw multi-jurisdictional real estate transactions and helped lead the development of company-wide privacy and digital platform policies.
Earlier in her career, Sandra represented both public and private entities in matters involving real estate acquisition, development, leasing, and disposition. She also provided strategic counsel on construction, infrastructure, and land use projects, as well as broader compliance and governance issues.
Sandra earned her Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School, where she received the Hilmer Oehlmann, Jr. Writing Award for excellence in legal writing. She also holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Carleton College. She is fluent in Spanish and actively involved in the legal community, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer of the Mexican American Bar Foundation.
