Judith is a highly experienced investigator and is one of three LCW partners that manage LCW Investigations, a group of over fifteen LCW attorneys who conduct workplace investigations. Judith has conducted workplace investigations for over twenty years. Judith conducts a variety of employment-related investigations for private and public employers and is often called upon to conduct high-profile, sensitive, and complex investigations.
In conducting investigations, Judith’s many years of experience litigating cases in state and federal court bring a wealth of expertise and skills that are critical to handling investigations. As a seasoned litigator, Judith is skilled in the art of gathering facts, conducting effective witness interviews, probing information provided by witnesses, evaluating witness credibility, gathering documentary evidence, reaching supportable conclusions, drafting an investigation report, and other skills necessary to conduct and document a sound and defensible investigation.
Judith is a popular speaker and regularly conducts management training on a wide variety of employment issues, including conducting effective workplace investigations. Judith and her colleagues conduct a special LCW developed investigations training program for internal investigators, designed to comply with the Civil Rights Department Workplace Harassment Guidelines.
Prior to joining Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, Judith was a partner in a national labor and employment law firm and then was a partner in a boutique employment and business litigation firm. Judith began her career representing employers at Liebert, Cassidy, Frierson, LCW’s predecessor.
Judith received her BA from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and received her JD from the University of California, Davis School of Law.
