Leighton Henderson

Leighton is a seasoned workplace investigator, regularly conducting investigations into allegations of harassment, retaliation, and misconduct, including those of a sensitive nature and those concerning high profile individuals. She has practiced employment law for over a decade, and while she now devotes her time to workplace investigations, her investigations work is informed by her background in employment litigation.

In addition to conducting workplace investigations, Leighton guides clients through the entire investigations process, from finding and retaining an outside investigator to deciding whether the investigation findings necessitate corrective action. She also trains throughout California on investigations best practices.

Leighton holds a certificate from the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and serves as faculty at the AWI Training Institutes, where she instructs and coaches attendees on how to conduct witness interviews and write investigations reports. She is also a member of LCW’s Investigations Executive Team.

Leighton earned her Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Los Angeles and her Juris Doctor from University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly University of California, Hastings College of Law.)
