Morin I. Jacob
San Francisco Managing Partner
Morin Jacob is the Managing Partner of the firm’s San Francisco office and co-manages the firm’s Investigations Practice Group. She has conducted workplace investigations into allegations including mass shootings and violence in the workplace; embezzlement of seven-figure dollar amounts; claims of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation; allegations of fraud and theft; sexual misconduct; and failure to perform job duties. Morin has also testified as a witness in arbitrations and other legal proceedings, defending her workplace investigations. In addition to conducting workplace investigations, Morin oversees investigations conducted by other investigators.
Morin is regarded an expert in Investigations and is regularly invited to present at state and national conferences, such as for the Association of Workplace Investigators. Twice Morin has ranked in the “Top 75 Labor & Employment Lawyers” list published by the California Daily Journal, a premier publication for lawyers. Morin is an Associate of Workplace Investigators Certificate Holder (AWI-CH), after having completed the AWI Training Institute.
Morin earned her Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Stanislaus and her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Through a competitive process, Morin attended the Senior Executives in State and Local Government course offered by Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, where she studied cutting-edge policy issues.
