Dana Segal
Associate
Dana Segal is an Associate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore where she provides advice and counsel on all employment law and litigation related matters.
Prior to joining LCW, Dana served as a Deputy District Attorney in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. In this role, Dana conducted numerous jury trials through verdict, hundreds of preliminary hearings, and dozens of evidentiary motions. Dana prosecuted criminal matters at all stages of litigation, handling cases ranging from unlawful possession of a firearm to murder.
Dana also gained legal experience at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, where she conducted misdemeanor jury trials. During her tenure in public service, Dana volunteered for Project LEAD and conducted training for law enforcement officers.
Dana obtained her Juris Doctor from UCLA Law School, where she was the Administrative Chair of the El Centro Mobile Clinic and an active participant in the Moot Court. As an undergraduate, Dana attended Barnard College at Columbia University where she graduated cum laude.
