Correctional Sergeant Termination (2025) – A county correctional sergeant conducted a “nighttime” firearms qualification for a group of sworn officers at approximately 1 pm – well before dusk—despite his knowledge that the qualification must be conducted under low light conditions.  The sergeant completed qualifications forms for the officers that indicated the tests had occurred at 5 pm, and that one officer had qualified with a shotgun, even though that officer had not.  Partner Jennifer Rosner and Attorney Jackie Lee convinced the hearing officer that the correctional sergeant was intentionally dishonest, that his defenses were not credible, and his dismissal was justified because he undermined the public trust.

Employee v. County (2024) – Convinced an arbitrator to uphold the termination of a long-term employee for violating county policies concerning vehicle use and timesheet fraud, and for untruthfulness during the administrative investigation.
