Jay Dover
IT Director
As IT Director, Jay provides the overall strategic direction of the firm’s technology with primary responsibilities of evaluating and deploying new technology, information and network security and managing IT operations. Jay also manages the firm’s litigation technology including document review applications, workflows and procedures in the discovery/production process. He is also responsible for establishing the firm’s IT policies and procedures, systems documentation, IT best practices, backup and disaster recovery strategy, IT department budgeting and supervises application training for LCW attorneys and staff.
Jay joined LCW in 1997 first supporting ERC training services before formally establishing and leading the firm’s IT Department in 2001. Jay left the firm briefly in 2015 and returned in 2016 to assume the Practice Group Manager position, directing the firm’s litigation technology and support services. He re-assumed the IT Director position, late 2017 and is currently designing and leading several technology projects and initiatives to enhance the firm’s client services.
Before joining the firm, Jay worked in advertising, education and graphic design and was the Editorial Director for a non-profit organization in Los Angeles. He is an active member of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and has presented at their annual conference. He holds Microsoft MCITP Certifications in Network Administration and Windows Systems.
