AB 51 (Labor Code § 432.6) prohibits employers, starting January 1, 2020, from requiring any applicant or employee to submit any discrimination claims covered under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (not just sexual harassment) and any claims under the Labor Code (including wage and hour and other protections) to mandatory arbitration, as a condition (more…)
