Richard (Dick) Whitmore began representing management in public sector employment matters in 1970 as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Sunnyvale. He was the founding partner of Whitmore, Kay & Stevens (1976) and Whitmore, Johnson & Bolanos (1991). Following the merger of Whitmore, Johnson & Bolanos with Liebert Cassidy, Dick became a name partner in Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. He retired from the active representation of clients on December 31, 2010.
