Don’t Leave Money on the Table—How to Recover $$$ from the Federal Government for Your Agency’s COVID Leave Payments and Other COVID Costs
This 60-minute training will assist your agency with recouping federal dollars for leave payments made to employees on COVID-related leave. The speakers will first recap the various COVID leave laws enacted since 2020, including the federal EPSL and EFML programs, and California’s SB 95 and SB 114. We will then provide: (1) a detailed description of the eligibility requirements for recovering federal dollars for COVID leave payments; (2) step-by-step instructions for completing IRS Forms 941-X to recover tax credits for 2021 COVID leave payments; and (3) step-by-step instructions for completing the applications to recover federal funds for COVID leave payments as well as other COVID-related expenses and losses.
