In this webinar, we will provide practical guidance for employers to consider as they think about how to manage risks and reopen their workplaces to employees and members of the public. The webinar will focus on the following subjects:

(1) changing legal and public health authority related to COVID-19 health and safety requirements;

(2) issues related to the employee vaccinations; and

(3) the provision of teleworking as an alternative working arrangement moving forward.

First, we will discuss current and operative legal and public health authority related to COVID-19 health and safety requirements and how employers should begin planning for such guidance to change in the coming months. Next, we will discuss issues related to employee vaccinations, including the role that employers may play in increasing employee vaccination rates, strategies for employers concerning the management of both vaccinated and unvaccinated employees, and issues related to the medical information associated with employee vaccination records. We will then discuss teleworking, focusing on different teleworking models that employers may elect to adopt on a permanent or semi-permanent basis, the costs and benefits of such models and the continued provision of teleworking as an alternative working arrangement more generally, and the importance of teleworking policies and agreements.

This webinar will be presented in a way to provide employers with options for addressing some of the issues that we anticipate you will face in reopening and returning employees to the workplace.
