John Z. LaCrosse is an Associate in Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s San Diego office and a member of the firm’s Workplace Investigations practice. John conducts impartial workplace investigations, drawing on his experience in employment litigation and journalism. He has litigated matters in which the adequacy, findings, or conclusions of an inquiry were closely examined. This experience gives him practical insight into how decisions involving scope, credibility, and documentation may later be scrutinized in litigation or administrative proceedings. He also advises clients overseeing work performed by outside investigators.
Before practicing law, John worked as a news producer and reporter, developing skills essential to effective fact-finding: asking focused questions, evaluating competing accounts, identifying relevant information, and organizing complex facts into clear, well-supported findings.
