Riley Jacobs

Riley Jacobs is an Associate in Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s San Diego office, where she advises educational institutions and nonprofit organizations, as well as public agencies, on labor and employment matters. She also advises private schools on education and student/family relations matters. Her practice includes counseling clients when workplace complaints and investigations arise, including matters involving alleged discrimination, harassment, retaliation, employee misconduct, and policy violations.

Riley has assisted clients in supervising outside investigations and understands the importance of a thorough, impartial, and well-managed investigative process. She advises clients and counsel on issues arising throughout investigations, including defining the scope of the investigation, navigating procedural considerations, and evaluating investigative findings and appropriate next steps. Riley has also participated in extensive internal training focused on conducting fair, effective, and reliable workplace investigations.
