Chancellor’s Office Regulatory Action: “Burden-Free Access To Instructional Materials.”

On July 1, 2025, the California Community Colleges Board of Governors approved regulatory action entitled “Burden-Free Access to Instructional Materials.” was filed with the Office of Administrative Law and the California Secretary of State. This regulation becomes effective on July 30, 2025.

Pursuant to California Code of Regulations, section 52010, Districts may conform their policies and procedures to the regulatory requirements within one hundred and eighty (180) days of the effective date.
