Proposed Changes to Title 5 Regulations: MESA Program and Standardized Attendance Accounting Cleanup

The California Community Colleges, Chancellor’s Office posted a notice of proposed rulemaking titled “Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) Program” and a separate proposed rulemaking titled “Standardized Attendance Accounting Cleanup.” You can review the proposed updates here. A public hearing was held during the regularly scheduled Board of Governors meeting on September 15, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Comments must be received by the Regulations Coordinator prior to 4:00 p.m., October 17, 2026.
