Associate
Alexandra C. Clark is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, where she provides legal counsel on labor and employment law matters. Alexandra is an insightful legal advisor and a fearless litigator. She has a courtroom presence and is adept at convincing judges and decision makers to find for our public agency clients.
In court, Alexandra has defended our clients: in a FLSA collective action with multiple defendants and plaintiffs; and in a writ of mandate action brought by a former employee. Alexandra has convinced the court to grant a client a long-term Workplace Violence Restraining Order.
Alexandra’s labor relations practice has included at-the-table negotiations for cities across Southern California. Alexandra has represented a county in unfair practice charges and grievance arbitrations.
Prior to joining LCW, Alexandra served as a Staff Attorney at Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers, where she represented parents in high-stakes dependency proceedings. In this role, she handled a caseload of over 100 clients, conducting thorough investigations, filing motions, and collaborating with experts to present complex legal defenses. Her experience includes advocating in contested matters and managing cases at every stage of litigation.
Before her role as a Staff Attorney, Alexandra held legal positions at reputable firms throughout California where she independently managed family law and criminal defense cases, assisting with everything from trial preparation to drafting legal memoranda. Alexandra also gained valuable insight into public interest law through her work with the Los Angeles County Office of the Public Defender and her internship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she contributed to policy development and legal research.
Alexandra earned her Juris Doctor from LMU Loyola Law School, where she was active in several student organizations. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare and a minor in History.
