Amelia Hubble
Associate
Amelia Hubble is an Associate in Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s San Francisco office, where she advises and represents public agencies and educational institutions in employment and education law matters. Her practice includes litigation, administrative proceedings, disability-related matters, and wage and hour issues.
Amelia brings experience managing matters through every stage of litigation. Prior to joining LCW, Amelia worked in civil legal aid on housing, civil rights, education, employment, and health matters. She has written and argued dispositive motions, managed discovery, represented in administrative hearings and appeals, and counseled clients through complex legal issues. She approaches each matter by balancing legal and practical considerations and developing strategies tailored to the client’s needs.
Before practicing law, Amelia worked extensively in education. She taught elementary school for five years, developed curriculum, and trained other educators. She also conducted research and published about California College Promise programs. This experience gives her valuable insight into the challenges facing educational institutions, educators, and students.
Amelia earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law and as a tutor in the Legal Research and Writing Program. Amelia earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from Connecticut College and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
