Brittany L. Trainer

Brittany L. Trainer is an Associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office, where she supports public agencies, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations. She brings a diverse background in litigation, including healthcare matters, personal injury, workers’ compensation, civil-rights actions, and post-conviction review.
Before joining the firm, Brittany served as a Licensed Staff Attorney advocating children in juvenile-dependency proceedings. She litigated a wide range of matters from detention through permanency, including contested hearings, motion practice, witness examination, and evidentiary presentation. She also developed case strategies with multidisciplinary teams.
Brittany previously gained litigation experience in healthcare matters and completed a fellowship in a post-conviction litigation and discovery division, where she worked on habeas corpus issues and appellate review. During law school, she further developed her background in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and §1983 civil-rights litigation.
She earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and her B.S. in Political Science, with a minor in Legal Studies, from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
