Brock Seraphin is Senior Counsel in Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s San Diego office. A seasoned litigator and trusted advisor, Brock represents public entities and other mission-driven employers in employment disputes and provides strategic counsel on complex workplace matters.
Brock advises clients on hiring, discipline, terminations, disability accommodations, workplace investigations, policy development, and other sensitive employment issues. He works closely with employers to strengthen workplace practices, navigate difficult personnel decisions, and reduce legal risk before disputes arise.
When litigation occurs, Brock guides clients through every stage of the process, from early case assessment and dispositive motion practice through arbitration, trial, and appeal. He develops efficient, strategic approaches tailored to each client’s objectives.
Brock began his career representing public entities before spending eight years in private practice, including at two AmLaw 100 firms. There, he developed a sophisticated litigation practice representing businesses, employers, and executives in complex commercial disputes and employment matters. Brock joined LCW to return to his roots in public-sector practice.
Brock has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star each year from 2024 through 2027.
Brock earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he served as an editor of the Loyola Law Review and treasurer of the St. Thomas More Honor Society. He received his B.A., with honors, in philosophy from Loyola Marymount University, where he was a Presidential Scholar and active in student leadership.
