Caroline Cohen is an Associate in Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s San Francisco office, where her extensive experience in employment law and litigation makes her a valuable asset to our clients.
Prior to joining Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, Caroline served as a Senior Associate at a prominent Northern California law firm. During her time there, she not only managed a substantial caseload of employment law matters but also led, mentored, and trained junior associates, contributing significantly to the team’s growth and success. Caroline’s strategic approach and creative problem-solving abilities were evident in her management of complex cases, resulting in numerous successful settlements and favorable outcomes for her clients. Before taking on the role of Senior Associate, Caroline honed her litigation skills as an Associate at another prominent Northern California law firm. Her experience encompassed a wide range of labor and employment legal proceedings, from wage and hour class actions, arbitrations and trials to oral arguments at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Caroline earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, graduating in the top 5% of her class. During her time there, she was honored with the Jesse Carter Society for Academic Excellence award and CALI Excellence awards in Appellate Advocacy and Evidence. In law school, she served as an extern for the former magistrate Judge Zimmerman in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. She participated in moot court and as an editor on law review. As an undergraduate, Caroline earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
