Chad Cooper

Chad Cooper is an AI integration and legal technology leader with more than 25 years of experience in law firm environments. As LCW’s new Director of AI Strategy & Legal Innovation, he works closely with firm leadership to advance the integration of AI into legal and operational workflows, helping position AI as a firm standard through practical implementation and long term adoption in support of delivering high quality, efficient service to clients.

Chad has implemented AI driven document review workflows, including technology assisted review and predictive coding, in complex litigation matters where accuracy, defensibility, and cost control were critical. His experience reflects one of the earliest and most established uses of AI within legal practice.

Chad approaches AI leadership as change management. He believes successful adoption depends on understanding how lawyers and professional staff work day to day. Having worked across nearly every operational function inside a law firm, and having led major infrastructure and system modernization initiatives, he brings practical insight into aligning technology with real world legal workflows.

Chad holds a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Fullerton and maintains certifications including Certified eDiscovery Specialist and ITIL Foundations.
