Associate
Chase Booth is an Associate in the San Diego office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, where he advises clients on a broad range of employment law issues. With a focus on providing practical and strategic legal solutions, Chase applies his diverse background in law and nonprofit management to effectively address the challenges faced by public and private sector organizations. Chase first joined the firm as a Summer Law Clerk, where he worked hand in hand with a multitude of our Public Agency clients.
Prior to joining LCW, Chase gained invaluable legal experience as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Dana M. Sabraw at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. During his externship, he conducted complex legal research, drafted bench memoranda, and observed various court proceedings, including jury trials and settlement conferences. Chase also has a background in nonprofit leadership, where he oversaw operations, managed fundraising efforts, and secured grants to support community programs. This experience further honed his ability to manage complex matters and develop effective solutions.
Chase earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating cum laude and ranking in the top 25% of his class. He was a member of the San Diego Law Review,a recipient of the Dean’s Honor Scholarship, and served as Vice-President of the Public Interest Law Foundation. His academic background is complemented by the prestigious Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, which allowed him to independently explore multiple countries and conduct international research. As an undergraduate, Chase earned his Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Grinnell College in Iowa.
