John Louis Chiappe

John Louis Chiappe is an Associate in our Sacramento office, where he provides labor, education and employment law expertise to our clients. Prior to joining LCW, John Louis was an Associate at a Sacramento law firm that specialized in education law, where he advocated for and counseled clients on a wide array of student and special education matters. John Louis also thoughtfully guided clients throughout due process hearings, from initial filings to closing briefs. His experience includes arguing motions and examining witnesses before administrative law judges, investigating discrimination claims, and advising educational agencies on compliance with complex state and federal regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
John Louis holds a J.D. from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law, where he also earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution and served as a teaching assistant in Real Property. While in law school, John Louis interned with the Los Angeles County Counsel. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Pepperdine University, where he graduated cum laude and held numerous leadership roles, including President of the Interfraternity Council and Pepperdine Ambassadors Council member.
He brings to his practice a commitment to meticulous legal analysis, client-centered advocacy, and a nuanced understanding of the education landscape.
