Meg Berkowitz
Associate
Meg Berkowitz is an Associate at Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, where she advises and represents clients on complex litigation and regulatory matters. She brings experience leading pre-suit investigations and drafting and arguing motions in high-stakes cases. Meg has negotiated significant settlements and managed litigation from inception through dispositive briefing, with strengths in legal research, persuasive writing, and oral advocacy.
Before joining LCW, she litigated consumer protection and false advertising class actions in the food, supplement, and cosmetic industries. She also provided pro bono representation at Homeboy Industries’ expungement clinics and externed with Animal Legal Defense Fund, where she researched state, federal, and international invasive species regulation.
Meg earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she participated in the Brennan Center Public Policy Advocacy Clinic, the Parole Preparation Project, and other public interest initiatives. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with highest honors in Global Studies and a minor in French. Meg studied abroad in Bordeaux, France, and is fluent in French.
She is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California.
