Private Company: 2-Hour Supervisory Harassment Prevention Training

CATEGORY: On-Demand Training
PRESENTER: Casey Williams

This workshop meets the requirements of SB 1343 (Government Code 12950.1) for supervisory employees. The law requires employers to provide harassment prevention training and education to all employees.  Supervisors must receive 2 hours of training every two years or within 6 months of their assumption of a supervisory position.

Prevention is the best practice—particularly in this rapidly changing, highly charged area of personnel law.  This workshop is designed for all levels of agency supervision and management and explains this complex area of the law; how to manage day-to-day interactions on the job; how to prevent harassment – including sexual harassment, gender identity/gender expression harassment, sexual orientation harassment, among other protected categories – and abusive conduct; obligations of a supervisor to address these issues; and how to prevent and respond to discrimination and retaliation.

The price per session is $27 for supervisors. This video is two hours long. You will receive an acknowledgment of completion once you have successfully completed the course. Please note that you need to keep a copy for your records and may need to send a copy to your organization’s administrator.

You will have access to watch this video once in 24 hours after payment is made. The workshop must be viewed in one sitting.
