This webinar will help agencies develop an effective workplace violence prevention plan to comply with the requirements of SB 553.  Beginning on July 1, 2024, employers must have a specific plan to combat workplace violence, provide training for their employees, and update the plan any time additional hazards are identified.  This webinar will focus on what employers need to implement, how to train their employees, reporting injuries and threats, and responding to reports of injuries.  Participants will also receive information and tips on making their workplace violence prevention plan effective.  The webinar will also discuss SB 553’s recordkeeping requirements.
