Jenny Denny
Associate
Jenny Denny is an Associate in Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s Los Angeles office and an experienced workplace and education investigator. She conducts investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, employee misconduct, policy violations, and student-related concerns. Jenny’s investigative work spans public and private educational institutions, as well as other public sector entities, where she applies her deep knowledge of employment law, education law, and regulatory compliance.
Jenny has experience leading investigations involving faculty, staff, and students, including cases related to employee discipline, disability accommodations, Title IX compliance, and student misconduct. Her background as a former public school teacher provides her with a unique perspective when investigating complex education-related matters, allowing her to approach sensitive issues with both legal insight and practical understanding.
In addition to conducting investigations, Jenny advises clients on structuring and managing the investigative process, analyzing findings, and implementing appropriate corrective action. She also provides legal counsel on employment and education matters, including employee performance management, governance, and compliance with Title IX, Title 5, and equal employment opportunity laws.
Jenny earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was selected as a Civitas Child Law Fellow and served as a guardian ad litem for children involved in child protection and juvenile court cases. She also holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University and dual undergraduate degrees in American Studies and Journalism from the University of Kansas.
