(Los Angeles, CA) March 16, 2022 – Liebert Cassidy Whitmore (LCW) is pleased to announce that Matt Doyle has joined its Los Angeles office as Senior Consultant, effective March 16, 2022. Matt most recently served as the City of Glendale’s Director of Human Resources where he oversaw a comprehensive human resources operation consisting of labor and employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, benefits, training, health services and workers’ compensation.

Matt’s career in public service spans more than three decades. During his tenure, Matt worked diligently to forge successful working relationships between management and labor. He was instrumental in developing future public agency leaders through his work with Glendale University – an in-house training and development program as well as his work with the Southern California Public Labor Relations Council (SCPLRC).
Matt has a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University Northridge in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University Long Beach’s Graduate Center for Public Policy and Analysis. He is a member of several professional organizations and has been on the Board of Directors for the Southern California Public Labor Relations Council (SCPLRC) for nearly twenty-five years, twice serving as President. A long-time resident of the City of Burbank, Matt has been an appointee to the Burbank Civil Service Commission for twenty-four years, serving as its chairman a total of seven times.
