Joshua Sarsfield
Associate
Joshua Sarsfield is an Associate in the San Diego office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, where he represents and advises educational institutions, public agencies, and nonprofit organizations in matters involving education, employment, and labor law.
Prior to joining LCW, Joshua clerked with Disability Rights California and interned with the Education and Disability Clinic at the University of San Diego where he advised clients on education and disability rights issues. He also gained valuable experience externing at a local school district where he assisted with various employment and student issues. Joshua further honed his research skills as a research assistant researching California education law and as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Andrew G. Schopler of the District Court of the Southern District of California.
Joshua earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and is a member of the Order of the Coif. He received the CALI award in Special Education and Disability and Employment Discrimination. He served as an articles editor for the San Diego Law Review and competed in Moot Court. In addition to his law degree, Joshua holds a master’s degree in Leadership Development and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
